He was a student of the <em>School for Music Talents<\/em> in \u0106uprija, and later a student at the <em>Faculty of Music<\/em> in the class of Aleksandar Pavlovi\u0107. In 1999, he was promoted to concertmaster of the <em>Belgrade Philharmonic<\/em>. He has collaborated with great artists such as Zubin Mehta, Mikhail Jurowski, Nikolai Lugansky, Mi\u0161a Majski, Uro\u0161 Lajovi\u0107, Muhai Tang and others.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p>Pavlovi\u0107 is very active as a soloist with orchestra, especially with the parent philharmonic and <em>\u201cStanislav Bini\u010dki\u201d<\/em> <em>Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence<\/em> and <em>Serbian Chamber Orchestra<\/em>. His recitals with Ivan Pavlovi\u0107, Biljana Gorunovi\u0107, Katarina Pipovi\u0107 and other pianists are important to mention. Chamber music playing makes a special and very important segment of the work represented by Miroslav Pavlovi\u0107, including concerts he performs as the first violin of the <em>Mokranjac String Quartet<\/em> and the <em>Ars String Quartet<\/em>, the artistic management of the <em>Belgrade Philharmonic Octet<\/em>, and co-operation with many chamber ensembles in Serbia and other countries. Among the musicians with whom he played many times we can mention Gordan Nikoli\u0107, Jane Thomsen, Aleksandar \u0160andorov, Sandra Beli\u0107, Ljiljana Nestorovska, Hagai Shaham and many others. For the second year now, he has been involved in teaching at the <em>Academy of Arts<\/em> in Novi Sad, as a professor at the <em>String Instruments Department<\/em>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p><strong>BILJANA GORUNOVI\u0106, <\/strong>piano, Serbia &#8211; The winner of the award from <em>\u201cSmiljka Uzelac\u201d Fund <\/em>as the best graduate of <em>Stevan Mokranjac Secondary Music School<\/em> in Belgrade for the year 1984 is currently one of the most renowned Serbian pianists and pedagogues, an associate professor and Head of the Piano Department of the <em>Academy of Arts<\/em> in Novi Sad. Before she went to Moscow to continue her education, initially as the student of Prof. Larisa Mohel, she had won three first and two second prizes at republic and federal competitions of students of music schools. Biljana completed her postgraduate studies at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in the class of Prof. Gleb Akselrod (1995) but she acquired her MA title again at the <em>Faculty of Music<\/em> in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Jokut Mihailovi\u0107 two years later. During the studies she won a number of recognitions at European competitions such as the <em>Diploma of Honours<\/em> at the <em>Maria Canals International Competition<\/em> in Barcelona 1991, or title of laureate of the <em>Second International Chopin\u2019s Competition<\/em> in G\u00f6ttingen in 1993. Having returned to her home country she had a prominent premiere performance of the <em>Kameja op. 51 <\/em>by Miloje Milojevi\u0107 in 1996 already, on the occasion of 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of his death that was also recorded on a CD under <em>PGP RTS<\/em> label along with <em>Melodies and Rhythms from the Balkans <\/em>of the same author. Three years later her recitals with Milojevi\u0107\u2019s pieces was proclaimed the best concert in 1999 (according to the critic of the newspaper <em>NIN<\/em>). She was awarded the same recognition from the <em>Association of Music Artists of Serbia<\/em> for her solo concert held in 2006. For a long time Biljana Gorunovi\u0107 has been a l member of the <em>Orpheus Ensemble<\/em> of the <em>Jeunessess Musicales of Belgrade<\/em>, and as soloist and chamber musician within different ensembles (with the clarinettist Aleksandar Tasi\u0107, <em>Glinka String Quartet<\/em>, and others) she has played at many concerts all around former Yugoslavia. As soloist with orchestra she performed with <em>Belgrade Philharmonic<\/em>, <em>\u201cStanislav Bini\u010dki\u201d<\/em> <em>Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence<\/em>, and with <em>St. George Strings<\/em>. On the occasion of celebration of 120<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of <em>Kolarac Endowment<\/em>, 65<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of opening of the Great Hall and 60<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of existence of the <em>Radio Orchestra<\/em>, she played with the <em>RTS Symphony Orchestra<\/em> under the conductor Stanko \u0160epi\u0107. Her international performing career has been connected mainly with Russia and former Soviet Union countries, but also at guest performances in Greece, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Norway.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Porgramme: V.
